Thanks to Multi-Way Balancer System (PAT.), DEEP-X 300 & DEEP-X 150 have variable swimming action and sound which allow you to put giant fish in the boat. During DEEP-X 300 is diving, its weight ball is held on the edge of the body and it has wide wobble swimming action without rattle-sound. (refer to image B).

When DEEP-X 300 (or DEEP-X 150) reaches max. depth (12ft to 15ft), its weight ball moves back slightly and held on there(refer to image C), changing swimming action to tight high-pitch roll & wobble swimming action and starting making sounds. (refer to swimming action video above) Such changes of swimming action and sound crush big bass. Thus you have to focus when the bait reaches the max. depth and when the bait gets a way from the range.

2. Jerks & twitches in the depth of under 19Ft

Since DEEP-X 300 (& DEEP-X 150) is designed to be more than typical deep diver, the balancer system is tuned to maximize twitches and jerks, allowing the bait to create the irregular kind of action often associated with deflections in the depth of under 12ft. Since other lures can’t do such thing, big bass is crushed by DEEP-X 300.

As one of the most popular deep divers in lake Biwa where the world record bass was caught in 2009, DEEP-X 300 has excellent performance for long casts and steep dive angles etc.

4. DEEP-X 150: Tournament Performance Born from the DEEP-X 300

The DEEP-X 150 was not created simply to fill the numerical gap between the DEEP-X 100 and 200.

It was developed around the same time as the DEEP-X 300, taking the design philosophy of that U.S. tournament-focused deep crankbait and condensing it into a compact 64mm body.

Its rounder, more spherical body creates greater buoyancy, and the opposing forces between that buoyancy and the water pressure on the bill produce a harder, more pronounced wobble than the 300. It still delivers the long casting distance and steep diving angle needed to reach depths of up to 4 meters, but its smaller profile makes it especially effective when forage is small or when the 300 creates too much presence.

Start with the 300 to cover water aggressively, then downsize to the 150 when bites are limited or bass are focused on smaller baitfish.
