KAGELOU is a shallow diving minnow designed for Japanese Seabass feeding on the surface. Its large, carved darter cup produces a subtle, natural rolling action at low to medium retrieve speeds, enticing bites. As the retrieve speed increases to medium-high, the action transforms into a more appealing rolling with a sliding motion. Combined with water displacement, this lifelike swimming motion stimulates the predatory instincts of Japanese Seabass.

2. Instant Action on Splashdown: Perfect for Keeping Surface Bass Engaged

The KAGELOU 100F features the LBO II (PAT.) instant weight transfer system. When retrieval begins, the weight instantly moves forward and locks in place, creating an ideal balance that allows the lure to start its action the moment tension is applied to the line. This prevents surface-feeding Japanese Seabass from detecting the lure and maximizes bite opportunities.
During casting, the weight shifts to the rear, enabling exceptional casting distance and minimizing the angler's presence to the fish.

3. Increase Your Catch by Matching Bait Size to the Field

As of 2024, the KAGELOU shallow diving model is available in three sizes. The original 124F (diving depth 0 to 0.65 feet) is versatile. The 100F (diving depth 0.65 to 1.97feet) is suitable for small baitfish like anchovy, while the 155F (diving depth 0 to 0.65 feet) can imitate larger prey. Anglers can expect improved results by selecting the appropriate size for the situation.
