An i-motion lure with sensation of retrieving bait, ideal for i-motion technique beginners
Swimming Action
1. 1st Megabass bait for “i-Motion” technique
The Japanese popular type of lure called " i-ji-kei " is designed for i-Motion technique where the lures swim straight with no action-it’s how baits actually swim. “i-Motion” lures belong to the most fineness category. KARASHI IGX also belongs to the category. Despite other Japanese popular lure brands had released their “i-Motion” lures, such as Imakatsu iArrow 65F, Jackall Nagisa 65SP, and Deps Wakasagi bait in 2021, Megabass had not released but just had unveiled KARASHI IGX prototype. As Megabass does not release product until they are satisfied its quality, KARASHI IGX should have difference from other i-Motion baits.
2. Different from other i-Motion lures -not totally no vibration-
In general theory, when using an “i-Motion” technique, anglers must keep it swimming with no vibration because bass recognize a lure as fake by observing it at few inches. To overcome difficulty of reducing vibration, other brands mount special designed fin.
However, Megabass solved it in a different way. They designed a special head mounted Deep-Cup-Keel (PAT.) with flat body, allowing fisherman not only to control the bait easily but also to change swim speed with “little” vibration. (Unlike others, Megabass claims that little vibration is required for i-Motion lure to mesmerize bass since they have already recognize standard i-Motion baits as fake in Japan. )
Unlike other companies that prioritize functionality by mounting fins, Megabass uniquely addresses the challenge with a pure body shape without compromising its appearance, contributing to the lure's beautiful appearance.
3. i-Motion technique beginner friendly
As i-Motion lures do not provide strong vibration, anglers are required patience: no-sensation of retrieving lure... (That’s the reason why it’s regarded as one of the hardest fineness techniques in Japan. ) To overcome such a weakness of i-Motion bait, Megabass designed KARASHI IGX as the bait allowing anglers to feel vibration of retrieving. It’s good for i-Motion technique beginner to persistence to throw KARASHI IGX.
4. Increase your catch using 4 variations.
The KARASHI IGX comes in four types, with two sizes each available in floating and sinking specifications.
The two sizes are 60 and 70. Use them according to the size of the bait the bass are feeding on at the time.
There are floating and sinking models. Use the floating model for the set-and-forget method in currents, and if the bass are positioned a bit lower, switch to the sinking model according to the situation.
5. Once you get accustomed to the i-motion, differentiate with another i-motion lure to increase your catch
After mastering the i-motion technique with KARASHI IGX, try switching between different i-motion lures preferred by bass in various situations.
