Finesse Wakebait

Megabass has designed some wakebaits since 2000. (Prop Darter 80/ 110, Prop Darter i-LOUD, i-JACK etc. ) Their 1st wakebait: Prop darter 80 has been produced since 2000 and is still popular in Japan. According to their brochure of 2001, the concept design of Prop Darter 80 is “Topwater version of X-80 Trick Darter”. That means that it was born as a finesse wakebait which did not exist in Japanese market at that time. Prop Darter i-Wake follows the concept but is built specifically for very slow retrieve speed and for bigger fish. (Photo. Prop Darter 80 is just 80mm 1/4oz. Prop Darter i-Wake is 106mm 1/2oz)

Longer casting distance

Due to shape, wakebaits are one of the lure which is not good at casting distance. Megabass has overcome the difficulty by mounting LBO and by making i-Wake bigger than Prop Darter 80.
