A huddle-tail style swimbait that produces realistic head-wobbling action even at ultra-slow retrieves
1. Even at ultra-slow retrieves, it creates a realistic head-wobbling action that perfectly imitates vulnerable prey fish
Supervised by B.A.S.S. Elite pro angler Kyoya Fujita, the VIVIDUS takes huddle-tail swimbaits to the next level.
Huddle-tail style swimbaits excel at ultra-slow retrieves, making them perfect for imitating vulnerable baitfish. However, Fujita noticed something off about traditional huddle-tail swimbaits—they only move their tails while swimming. To address this, he meticulously studied live fish behavior in Bass Pro Shops aquariums to understand "truly vulnerable baitfish swimming patterns." His research revealed that vulnerable baitfish don't just wiggle their tails, but also subtly roll their bodies and slightly wobble their heads. The VIVIDUS was designed to perfectly replicate this natural movement.
2. Wide tuning possibilities satisfy even advanced swimbait anglers with versatility across multiple techniques
Fujita's dissatisfaction with traditional huddle-tail swimbaits went beyond just swimming action—he also found their tuning options too limited.
Ideally, lures should maintain a horizontal posture in the water, just like real fish. Traditional huddle-tail swimbaits, however, tend to develop a tail-down posture when weight-tuned, looking particularly unnatural during the fall or when suspended. The VIVIDUS addresses this design flaw, maintaining a horizontal profile even when weight-tuned, and can be adjusted for either sinking or suspending action.
(Note: The VIVIDUS comes as a floating model and is designed to be tuned with nail weights. Always adjust with nail weights before use.)

Additionally, when leaving a lure on the bottom to entice bass, missed strikes are common, making side-mounted hooks essential. Traditional swimbaits required hooks to be inserted directly into the body, quickly damaging the lure. The VIVIDUS comes with specialized eyelets as standard equipment, making it a wallet-friendly swimbait option that lasts longer.
