Unique Crustacean Soft-Plastic with 9 Distinct Parts and a Standout Design
Swimming Action
1. Complex Vibrations from 9 Different Parts Make Bass Strike

Danny is a crustacean-type soft-plastic created by genius Haruhiko Murakami, the inventor of the Neko-Rig. One of Danny's distinctive features is the 9 different types of appendages covering the entire body.
Each appendage differs not only in shape but also in length, thickness, and the angle at which it connects to the body. Every part has a unique design, embodying what Murakami is fascinated by: "complex yet logical beautiful designs found in nature."

These 9 appendages—some that "flutter," others that "twitch," and some that "wave"—each stir the water with different movements, creating complex vibrations that attract bass in ways other soft-plastics cannot.
2. Distinctive Body Design Creates Presence That Gets Noticed by Distant Bass
Murakami is a crustacean enthusiast who has been observing them since childhood, even drawing them. He has designed various crustacean-type soft-plastics since the days of Tsunekichi (the predecessor to Issei), all with reputations as fish-catchers. With Danny, one of the major design themes was "having a (significant) presence just by being there."

To enhance its physical presence, not only the 9 appendages but also the body itself has been engineered with special features. Based on Murakami's assertion that "light emitted by living creatures isn't monotonous," the upper body features ribs connected by curves with no straight lines visible from any angle. The result is a complex object that doesn't look "artificial" to bass. As shown in the video above, bass will come to inspect Danny even when cast at a distance.
3. High Water Resistance Allows Slow Fall to Steadily Entice Bass

One way we recommend using Danny is with a Free-Rig. Danny has a large appendage-to-body ratio, creating significant water resistance. This means it has a slow fall rate, making it perfect not only for Carolina-Rigs but also for Free-Rigs. After the Free-Rig weight reaches bottom, the 9 appendages stir the water, steadily attracting bass.
4. Snag-Free in Heavy Cover When Used with Ne-uwo Dama Weights
The second recommended method is pairing with the company's Ne-uwo Dama weights. Danny was originally designed with these weights in mind, so the compatibility is excellent. Unlike many popular multi-legged soft-plastics, Danny has a flat body shape that allows it to slip through heavy cover easily. Adding the snag-reducing Ne-uwo Dama weight lets you deliver Danny deep into heavy cover to tempt bass.
5. Recommended Hook Size
For hooks, we recommend Owner's Multi Offset hooks in sizes #2 to #1, supervised by Murakami himself.
