According to Keiichi Hayashi, the late founder of Keitech, "Anglers operate soft-plastics from above the water, so naturally they can only move the soft-plastic's head up and down. No matter how hard they try, they cannot shake the soft-plastic's neck horizontally. On the other hand, small fish swim by swinging their tails horizontally. In other words, it's natural and realistic for the soft-plastic to swing its tail left and right (horizontally) when the angler provides an up and down (vertical) movement." Based on the above philosophy, Sexy Impact was born. The horizontally flat cross-sectional shape of the front part and the vertically flat cross-sectional shape of the rear part maintain a stable posture in the water while converting the vertical movement provided by the angler into a horizontal movement, generating a realistic tail action. Its appearance is just like a small fish.

Not only colors with a clear difference between the top and bottom, but even Green Pumpkin PP. achieves clearly contrasting two colors as shown in the above photo. When the bait is moved, flashing occurs in the water, alerting bass at a distance of its presence while stimulating their predatory instincts.

Sexy Impact is compatible with a wide range of rigs, from weight-less rigs to jighead rigs. Among them, our store recommends the jighead rig using the company's Football Shaky Head. By hooking the head onto some structure and tensioning the line, the soft-plastic stands up and mimics a small fish pecking at something while shaking its tail horizontally. Of course, since the hook point is well hidden in the body, you can entice bass at the bottom without worrying about snagging.

Use the #2/0 Football Shaky Head for the 3.8" and the #3/0 Football Shaky Head for the 4.8". The choice of weight needs to be adjusted according to the situation. When attacking hard cover, use the lightest weight that allows you to feel the cover. When attacking soft cover, choose a heavier weight to stack the head on the cover and shake the soft-plastic.

4. Induces bites with a one-point dirt action using a heavy dropshot rig

Sexy Impact is of course also recommended for dropshot rigs.

5. Induces bites by steady retrieving a weight-less rig on the surface

If your field has clear water, we highly recommend trying this. Just rig a 4.8" or 5.8" Sexy Impact on an offset hook and steadily retrieve it on the surface to imitate a weakened small fish with a swaying motion that is difficult to achieve with other baits. According to the late Keiichi Hayashi, just retrieving without jerking is recommended.
