Straight Tail Worm for Minimal Movement Shaking
1. Large Water Resistance from the Body Ensures Short Travel Distance, Precisely Tempting Bass at Specific Points
The epitome of finesse, the Neko-rig. While using a straight soft-plastic is the most basic method, typical straight soft-plastics tend to drift away from the targeted spot as soon as they are shaken. Hence, Imakatsu has developed the Wriggler, straight tail worm designed to continuously attract bass to a single point.
The Wriggler is a straight tail worm equipped with a flat head, designed to catch water resistance at the head, preventing it from moving towards the angler during shakes and allowing it to continuously entice at a single point. It's ideal for use around light cover where the drop shot technique, which excels at pinpoint shaking, falls short, or when targeting pressured bass that are focused on bottom bait.
2. Versatile Hook Positioning for Enhanced Swimming Action
Setting the hook from the head to the nodal section on the Wriggler provides the optimal setup for shaking. Alternatively, by inserting the hook at the node and exiting towards the tail, it becomes suited for swimming. Simply reeling it in causes the entire body to quiver, creating the illusion of a lifeform bass have never seen before.
