2. (Side Note) What is Power Mid-Strolling? And Why is it Necessary?
Power Mid-Strolling refers to the mid-strolling technique using soft-plastics, generally of 5 inches or longer. The traditional mid-strolling was an optimal strategy for targeting unmotivated bass suspended in mid-depths. Because of its inherent characteristics, the design prioritized the 'ability to make the bass bite' over the 'ability to draw the bass from distance,' resulting in most mid-strolling soft-plastics being of smaller sizes. However, when targeting lethargic bass floating in the vast mid-depths of expansive fields such as Lake Biwa: the largest lake in Japan, and other massive reservoirs, an ability to draw bas from distance while retaining the bite-inducing characteristic is essential.
