A crankbait for targeting Bass that are holding tight to obstacles and bottoms.

The MEGABASS ‘SUPER Z’ (Z-1, Z-2, Z-3) series are lures that do not ‘bounce’ when coming into contact with obstacles or the bottom, and can be reeled by riding the bottom without losing contact. Most crankbaits (such as the GRIFFON series) are lures that appeal by jumping up when making contact with an obstacle or the bottom, but the SUPER Z series offers a different concept. The SUPER Z holds tight to obstacles and can be traced closely, making it ideal for targeting obstacles and Bass lurking at the bottom. If the water is murky or the water temperature is low, and the bass are suspending tightly around obstacles, the SUPER-Z is for you.

A crankbait that attacks the shallow to middle range with a maximum diving depth of 2.9m

Equipped with Megabass' LBO II center-of-gravity movement system , the SUPER-Z Z2 allows long casting distance and performance. Although an issue with conventional compact crankbaits, the SUPER-Z Z2 makes it possible to retrieve over structure and the bottom of the target range over long distances. The low center of gravity provided by the LBOII system also enhances the stability and balance of the body at various retrieve speeds. For Bass fishing where retrieve speed changes, depending on weather and lake conditions, the SUPER-Z Z2 works well as a lure that can flexibly respond to a wide range of retrieval speeds. With the SUPER-Z Z2’s compact appearance and rolling swimming action, it can be used in tough situations such as low water temperatures and turnovers, where Bass suspend tight to structure and do not ‘light bite’, even with a finesse rig.
